Web & Blog Development | Internet Marketing | Search Engine Strategies for EthosVision (EVI) MembersEthosVision is the pioneer in Philanthropic Networking - a way of giving something very real, the gift of Sight, to those in the World who under present circumstances have absolutely no chance of obtaining it for themselves and by doing so, gaining a real financial gain for you. FOR MORE DETAILS, SEE: THE ETHOSVISION WEBSITE This page is a brief introduction for EthosVision members to gain some understanding of the steps necessary to promote their personal corporate EVI page. Web page promotion is as much a strategy as an art and all boils down to knowing what steps to take and taking each one at a time. There are, of course, many ways to achieve an objective and this is but one. However, it is a tried-and-tested stategy and forms a strong foundation on which to build further. This list of steps does not go in to details here, but merely serves as a checklist. STEP ONE: Create a blog and post to it daily to keep in touch with those who know you and those that find you via other methods (word-of-mouth, traditional print campaigns, surfing, etc.) STEP TWO: Promote your blog via a signature tag on every email you send out, by writing articles and publishing them on article directories, by social bookmarking (also known as 'tag and ping'), by ezine advertising and by press releases. STEP THREE: Create mini (30 second to 2 minute) videos with your signature in and get them posted on YouTube, Yahoo Video and as many of the other multiple video sites as possible. STEP FOUR: Think of your corporate web page and your blog as assets. You have many more assets than you could possibly realise and each must be optimised and promoted to it's fullest extent. You web assets include Error page - when you accidently type in a web page address that doesn't exist, you are sent to a 404 Error Page. This can also be personalised to promote your message. STEP FIVE: When you are talking to people about EVI, when you are writing letters and emails, always make sure you let everyone know the link address for your blog. STEP SIX: Write an ezine to promote any and every aspect of Philanthropic Networking and promote it with a link on your blog. STEP SEVEN: Create a 'squeeze page' as a first point of contact, or have a sign-up form on your blog so that people can be informed of updates as soon as you post them or can subscribe to youir ezine. This allows you to capture their email addresses and upsell them in the future. STEP EIGHT: Give and you shall receive. Give away free gifts in exchange for people's email addresses. These emails will be the beginning of your 'list' that can be monetized in the future. DON'T FORGET: This is not a definitive list, but if you do each of these steps in turn, you will be better off than 99.9% of all the other websites out there and will be getting targetted traffic to your pages/blog.
